Woman & Child Injured when Truck Slams into Rear of Vehicle on FM 1960
Posted on Oct 28, 2011
Early Wednesday morning at the Cypress Station intersection with FM 1960, an eastbound woman was stopping at the intersection when a tow truck rammed into the rear of the vehicle. The force of the impact from the tow truck flipped the car over.
The overturned car trapped the woman and child inside. Emergency workers from Ponderosa extracted the woman and child from the wreckage using the Jaws of Life. The injured pair received transport to the hospital for their injuries.
Harris County Sheriff's deputies did not release the medical conditions of the woman and child after the wreck. Harris County officers closed the eastbound lanes of FM 1960 for about an hour to conduct an accident investigation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the woman and child injured in the traumatic truck wreck, and with their friends and family who must also be suffering because of this terrible accident. We wish for the smooth recoveries of this injured woman and child after their sudden accident.
