South Houston Fatal SUV-Car Crash Kills SUV Driver & Injures 2 in Car

An SUV crash into an Audi in South Houston at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday claimed the life of the SUV driver, Brittany Coleman, 49. According to reports, the SUV had run a red light and crashed into the Audi as it attempted to make a left turn at the intersection of West Orem Drive and Almeda Road.
Rescue workers had to use the Jaws of Life to cut the victims from the two vehicles. Brittany Coleman dies at the hospital. The couple from the Audi remains hospitalized. One person from the Audi reportedly is in critical condition.
Witnesses of the fatal SUV - car crash said that it was "pretty bad." And debris from the collision impact struck two other vehicles waiting at the red light. Drivers of the waiting vehicles received no injuries from the flying debris.
