Woman Killed in Harris County Truck Accident

At approximately 6:15 p.m. on July 14, an underage driver in a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck hit a tree on South Fry Road in southwest Harris County. According to the police, the driver was going northbound at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred.

The passenger, a woman, was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital. A medical helicopter flew the driver to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. The driver sustained serious injuries, but will likely survive the accident.
