Retired Flint Police Officer Dies in Tragic Houston Motorcycle Wreck - No Helmet

Reports of the fatal motorcycle crash state that traffic came to a sudden stop in front of Mr. Sparks during the morning rush hour. He could not stop his Yamaha Road Star bike in time to avoid other traffic, so he swerved initially into a left emergency lane and then back into the traffic lane to the right. When his cycle's foot bars struck the road, the impact threw Mr. Sparks from his bike. Reports say that he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
