Police in Rockport, TX are conducting an investigation of a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a local police academy cadet, Oscar Russell Winn, III. Mr. Winn was a Coast Guard veteran from Ingleside, TX. He looked forward to graduation from the Del Mar College police academy in January 2012.
Mr. Winn was riding his motorcycle on Tuesday morning when the bike slammed into an SUV going through the Highway 35 and Corpus Christi Street intersection. Mr. Winn died at the scene of the fatal motorcycle accident.
