Pedestrian Killed in Harris County, TX

A pedestrian was killed while trying to cross the street early this morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The victim of the accident, whose name has not yet been released, was killed when he was hit by a car. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by medical professionals.
The fatal crash, which occurred around 5:45 a.m. on Monday morning, happened in the 1700 block of West FM 1960 near Ella, Texas.
Authorities did not release the cause of the accident, but no charges against the driver had been filed. It is unclear if alcohol, fatigue, or aggressive driving played a role in the crash.
