A 31-year-old Houston man, whose name has not yet been released, was killed in a single-vehicle crash last week.
The man, who was riding a white Yamaha motorcycle, lost control of his bike while trying to take the Highway 59 exit ramp off eastbound Interstate 10 in Houston. The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m.
The man lost control of his motorcycle, slamming into the guardrail. He then fell from the overpass into the East Freeway.
The motorcyclist was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. It is unknown if alcohol played a part in the fatal crash.
Our sympathies go out to all of those affected by this accident. We remind all motorcyclists in southeast Texas to drive safely.
