Large SUV Collides with VW Beetle in Fatal Crash in The Woodlands
Posted on Aug 11, 2011
On August 3, 2011, Brenda Tassin of Spring, TX was driving her VW Beetle northbound on Gosling in The Woodlands when she apparently veered out of her lane into oncoming traffic. A Ford Expedition driving in the southbound lane collided with Ms. Tassin's VW Beetle. Ms. Tassin died at the scene of the two-car accident. The man driving the Ford Expedition received a dislocated shoulder in the incident.
Our Pearland, TX injury accident lawyers would like to express our sympathies to the family and friends of Ms. Tassin. We also hope for the recovery of the Ford Expedition's driver from his accident injures and the trauma of the sadly fatal crash.
Our busy Houston area roads and highways carry vehicles of all sizes on their ways. And unfortunately, when a smaller vehicle collides with a bigger vehicle in a two-car accident, the smaller car and its occupants usually receive the worst of the encounter. The poor crashworthiness of small vehicles when involved in two-car accidents with larger vehicles is well known. We Pearland, TX injury accident lawyers hope that automakers will continue to work to make small vehicles stronger and safer for those who rely on them to travel our roads.
