I-20 Fatal, Fiery 18-Wheeler Collision Claims Life of Andrew Mayfield

Andrew Mayfield was pronounced dead at the scene of the fiery 18-wheeler collision near Marshall, TX. Texas DPS troopers say that the two men in the front tractor-trailer rig remained unhurt by the fiery 18-wheeler collision.
At least one of the eastbound lanes of I-20 will likely remain closed until next month because one of the 18-wheelers went over an overpass railing and damaged one of the overpass supports. Workers were checking the full extent of damage to the overpass support. TXDOT said that repairs will commence shortly and that they hope to have all I-20 lanes open again in time for Christmas travel.
