Houston driver rescued after running red light into underride accident

Posted on Jan 20, 2012

Houston personal injury attorneys note an underride injury accident that occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the North Freeway feeder road in Houston between a white car and a JetEx 18-wheeler. According to news accounts, the car's driver sped through a red light and skidded underneath the 18-wheeler. The car, cut in two by the collision, became stuck underneath the 18-wheeler. The driver received transport to the hospital, which listed him in stable condition. The driver is expected to be OK; but his car is not. Reportedly, police suspect that the driver might have been drinking prior to the underride injury accident.
