When the initial recall was announced by Ford, I predicted it would ultimately be much larger. Well, now it is much larger - 1,189,000 vehicles larger. The recall centers around unexpected deployment of airbags in the Ford F150. There is a possible short-circuit in the electrical system that could cause the unexpected deployment. The current recall, which again I think is likely to expand, includes nearly 1.2 million F-150 trucks and 16,000 Lincoln Mark LT trucks.
