Cement Truck Accident in Houston Kills One, Injures Another

A freak single-vehicle accident in south Houston, TX involving a cement truck has left one worker dead and another injured.

The Texas truck accident happened at Highway 288 and MacGregor in Houston on the afternoon of Friday, April 22nd.

According to police, a cement truck working on a construction site there slipped into gear and rolled over two men working in front of it.   One of the men, a 50-year-old worker, was killed in the accident. Another was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital with injuries.

The cement truck belongs to Dorsett Bros. The investigation into the accident, including how the truck was allowed to move, is still ongoing.
