Car Accident Leaves Two Dead - Vehicles Catch Fire and Burn

Posted on Jun 08, 2010

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the two people that tragically died this morning in a car accident near Houston, Texas.

The crash occurred early this morning on Highway 249 in Northwest Houston. Specifically, the wreck occurred in the 17100 block of southbound Tomball Parkway near Greens Road at around 9:30 a.m.

It is reported a UPS delivery van burst into flames during the pile-up. At least one of the crash victims was trapped inside a burning vehicle after the crash.

Post crash fuel-fed vehicle fires are the result of an unsafe and defective vehicle design. It is the rare crash that should cause a vehicle fire without some type of defect in the vehicle and the vehicle's fuel system. Car accidents, wrecks with commercial trucks like UPS delivery vehicles and tragedies arising from unsafe vehicles and vehicle parts and components are the kinds of cases we handle at Denena & Points.

Please join us here at the firm in keeping the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
