A day later, on August 9, 2011, a woman lost control of her rapidly moving vehicle on Highway 290 near Bingle Road. The car apparently hit the inside wall of the highway and traveled across several lanes of 290 before it rolled onto its side. The crash ejected the woman into the roadway. Reports say that Life Flight carried the woman to a downtown hospital where she remained on life support.
