Holiday car crash, rather than holiday cookie, results from this misture of sprinkles, cinnamon, and spice in Houston, Texas
Sprinkles, cinnamon, and spice sound more like a recipe for holiday cookies. But in this case, they formed the recipe for a serious Christmas Eve car crash involving multiple injuries.
The Christmas Eve car crash occurred at the intersection of Cinnamon and Spice Lanes in southwest Houston. Reportedly one vehicle ran into the left side of the other car. Police said they did not believe that alcohol was a factor in the car crash, but that the weather conditions at the time may have contributed to the wreck. Several victims of the Christmas Eve car crash received transport to the hospital with minor injuries.
Rainy and wintry weather mixes make for adverse driving conditions. Drivers can more easily lose control of their vehicles on turns and curves, and can have difficulty stopping on slippery roads. Driver negligence, such as driving distracted or speeding, only adds to the dangers of accidents and resulting injuries.
