What is a truck's "no-zone" area?

A:

The no-zone is the area that the trucker is unable to see or where he has limited visibility. Sometimes this is referred to as a blind spot. The no-zone area includes the left and right rear area and the area directly behind the truck. In these areas, other vehicles disappear from the trucker's view. The most dangerous no-zone is the right-rear area, because trucks make wide right turns.

The no-zone is where collisions are most likely to occur. This is because a truck's blind spots are much larger than a vehicle's blind spots. If you are unable to see the face of the driver in the truck's rear-view mirror, this means that you are in the no-zone area and the trucker is unable to see you.

If you have been injured in a truck wreck in the Houston, Texas area because the driver did not see you in the no-zone, contact a truck-accident attorney at Denena & Points for a free consultation at 713-807-9500 or at 877-307-9500.
