What do I do if I am involved in a motorcycle wreck that wasn't my fault?

A: First, call the police to make a report.  Do not talk to the other driver's insurance company because they will very likely try to blame you for the wreck.  Next, you should document the scene, if possible.  Take pictures with a camera phone, exchange information with the other driver to include contact and insurance information, and look for eyewitnesses and get their contact information.  Then, as soon as possible, seek medical attention if you are hurt.  It is best to get checked out at the emergency room to be sure that you do not have any internal injuries that are not immediately apparent at the scene.
