Should I give a recorded statement to the insurance adjustor working for the person that crashed their car into me?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT! YOU ARE UNDER NO LEGAL OBLIGATION TO GIVE A STATEMENT!
There are generally two kinds of insurance adjustors in the world. The BULLY. This kind of adjustor will try and bully you into giving them what they want with threats, misstatements, misinformation and an overall rude lack of responsiveness. Don't let yourself get pushed around.
The adjustor that acts like your BEST FRIEND. This type of adjustor tells you over and over they are on your side, that you are in good hands and they are looking out for your best interests. Not True. Don't fall for it.
Again, DO NOT give a recorded statement to the insurance company adjustor.
