Are any vehicles safe from rollover?

A: All vehicles will rollover under certain circumstances; however, some vehicles are safer than others. Vehicles with high centers of gravity such as SUVs and trucks are more prone to rollover. The high center of gravity along with the narrow track width and short wheelbase of smaller SUVs and trucks simply make these vehicles even more prone to rollover. Every SUV and truck should have some type of stability control system. This helps the vehicle recover when it is starting to get out of control. Not all vehicles are equipped with this important safety feature even though the car manufacturers have the know-how to put them on every vehicle. Rollover prone vehicles should also be well equipped with safety features such as side airbags, air curtains and seatbelts with pretensioner systems.
